GETTING STARTED

I’m new to Pilates — where should I start?
We recommend beginning with our Intro Reformer or beginner-friendly classes. These sessions are designed to help you learn the foundations of movement, breathing, posture and reformer technique in a supportive environment.
Do I need experience to join?
Not at all. Our classes are designed for all levels, and our coaches will always provide options and modifications to suit your body and experience level. We have designed classes to step you from beginner to experienced – see below pathway.

What should I bring to class?
Please bring:
- Grip socks
- A water bottle
- A towel or pilates mat
- Comfortable activewear is recommended
You can purchase grip socks in studio for $22
How early should I arrive?
We recommend arriving 5–10 minutes before class so you can settle in, meet your instructor and prepare for your session.

We offer a clear progression pathway to help you move confidently through your wellness journey:
- Intro Reformer → beginners
- Reformer Care → injury prevention / gentle movement
- Reformer All → all levels
- Reformer Strength → more challenging strength-focused movement
- Sculpt & Stretch / Restore classes → recovery & mobility

How do I book classes?
Classes can be booked through our app or member portal.

Can I join a waitlist?
Yes. If a class is full, you can add yourself to the waitlist and you’ll be notified (by email) if a spot becomes available.
NOTE: Your wait listed position may reserve one of your allocated classes for the week making it unavailable to book other classes.
What is your cancellation policy?
We kindly ask members to cancel within the cancellation window (6hrs) to avoid late cancellation fees and to allow waitlisted members the opportunity to attend.
Late Cancellation fee $2.50
No Show Fee $5
What happens if I miss a class?
Missed sessions outside the cancellation window may be forfeited depending on your membership type.
WELLNESS & SUPPORT
I have an injury or health condition — can I still attend?
Absolutely. Please let your coach know before class so we can provide suitable modifications and support or recommend a more suitable class type . Our Reformer Care classes are also designed specifically for injury prevention, rehabilitation and gentle movement.
What are Client Wellness Sessions?
Client Wellness Sessions are one-on-one goal-setting sessions with a coach designed to help create a personalised wellness pathway based on your goals, lifestyle and movement needs.
Do you offer one-on-one coaching?
Yes. We offer personalised coaching and private training sessions for members wanting more individualised support. $65 per session

What if I feel nervous or intimidated?
You are not alone. Many of our members begin feeling unsure or overwhelmed, and our goal is to create a welcoming, supportive and non-judgemental space where everybody feels comfortable moving at their own pace.

MEMBERSHIPS
What membership options do you offer?
We offer a variety of memberships and class packs to suit different lifestyles, schedules and wellness goals.
Can I pause my membership?
Direct Debit memberships can be paused for up to 30 days in a calendar year. Any further pauses will incur a $25 pause fee.
Can I upgrade my membership?
Yes. We’re happy to help you find the membership option that best supports your goals and routine.
Do memberships include all classes?
Most memberships include access to all regular classes, however some specialty services or coaching sessions may be additional.

What makes My Wellness Bar different?
We believe wellness is about more than just exercise. Our studio is designed to support movement, recovery, strength, confidence, connection and overall wellbeing in a welcoming and empowering environment.
Is your studio suitable for women over 40?
Absolutely. Many of our members are women navigating busy lifestyles, hormonal changes, recovery, strength building and healthy ageing. Our approach focuses on sustainable movement and long-term wellness.
Do you run workshops or wellness events?
Yes — we will host wellness workshops, challenges, educational sessions and community events throughout the year.
STUDIO ETIQUETTE
Do I need grip socks?
Yes. Grip socks are required for safety and hygiene purposes.
Can I use my phone during class?
We encourage members to disconnect during sessions and enjoy time focused on movement and wellbeing.
What if I’m running late?
For safety reasons, late entry may not always be permitted once class has commenced.
